| Richard is a sociable perfectionist who has many hobbies, most
of which are related to politics. He enjoys parties, as long as
they do not involve drugs and are not held in a persons house. Many
people would say that that is because he tries to be a traditional,
classy, mature young man. Although he could be misconstrued as a
nerd (if you were to go by a simple biography alone), he is really
not. He detests the labels people have such as goth, emo, prep,
etc., and would never label himself as such. He has been described
by many as being preppy, however. That would most likely be because
of his clothing and grooming habits. Although he is perfectly
normal,(citation needed) he
spends, on average, 45 minutes getting ready each morning, and
hundreds of dollars each year on hair products. This may be because
of his very public life: as an editorialist, political consultant,
and status in the Progressive Conservatives of NS and Conservative
Party of Canada, he feels the need to act (and be) sophisticated at
all times.
Outside of politics, he is very active in his school and community. He plays golf and coaches curling. Not very athletic, he does his best to stay in shape. This can be difficult, as he has fine taste and enjoys cooking for himself. He enjoys public speaking, as well. A staunch Conservative, he is pro life, pro right to defend ourselves and pro minimize the government. One think that always bothers him is the negative light put on politics. He has seen (and worked) with many hard-working politicians who do not fit the stereotype the media often portrays. He can be full of himself, but it's all in good fun. He has a sense of humour and often finds himself at the center of attention. This is okay with him, though. Some negative aspects about him include his terrible grammar skills, tendency to overwork, big head, and desire to have all the attention pointed to him. |

I found wikiHow one day in the fall of 2006 when I was personalizing my Google home page. I started off by reading, then took the step of editing. I was welcomed by KnowItSome, who instilled in me the belief we need to welcome all users to wikiHow, as they can all add something. I also met Jack H, whom I have admired for some time. His ability, patience, and desire to better wikiHow is amazing, and I envy his personality. In Spring 2007, I became a wikiHow admin. I like to patrol recent changes, remove personal references, merge pages, help new users, format pages, monitor the forums, mediate disputes between users, and change titles. Plus more, I'm sure! My admin specialty is policy and mediation. |
